Good Evening Eastside Community, Saturday we had the opportunity to celebrate the life and legacy of Coach Johnson. Multiple individuals testified to his sharp thinking, his deep passion for nature and UT football, and his even deeper love for his family and friends.

Welcome back to the Spring Semester. As you may have been informed, we recently lost one of our students, Gianna Jones. During this time, it is more important than ever that we take the time to support our students and build relationships as we prepare them to move towards the future of their dreams. I was extremely proud and thankful to hear of the connections our staff made with Gianna; some staff have known her for many years. To that end, we will continue to focus on the ways we can support our students. We are only here because of them.

Dear Eastside Community, Welcome to December! The close of the semester is often one of the busiest times of the year. STAAR for our students taking the retest begins tomorrow. All other students will have a regular school day, with some exceptions.
