I hope you enjoyed the extended weekend. Last week, we had the opportunity of hosting the Black Student Alliance (BSA) from Crockett High School, as they and our student leaders explored our L.C. Anderson memorial spaces. L.C. Anderson Alumni explained the history of L.C. Anderson, including its inception, its closing, and how East Austin students are still impacted today.
We are grateful for the knowledge, wisdom, and desire of L.C. Anderson Alumni to give back to our students.
