This week, we are beginning to ramp up our focus on college and career readiness. Specifically, our freshmen will be taking the TSI this week during their AVID classes.
It is important that we emphasize a college and career mindset for all students. We want to expose our students to opportunities that will provide awareness to student areas of interest. In some cases, like the upcoming Tech4All Festival, we are bringing those opportunities directly to campus!

Es importante que enfatizamos una mentalidad universitaria y profesional para todos los estudiantes. SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUEST!!
Student Schedule Change Requests - Student schedule change requests begin Monday, August 28 - September 8. Students will either be able to use one of the posted QR codes to submit their request or pick up a paper copy of the request at the front office. Requests will be considered in the order they are received.
AUSTIN ISD SHOWCASE
Please join us for the 2nd annual Austin ISD Showcase on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Road)! Learn about the fantastic programs and opportunities our district offers for students and families from Pre-K to 12th grade.
Each school will be on hand to show what makes it a unique place for your child to learn, grow and succeed. You can also visit with over 100 community partners and organizations offering resources to your family.
This event includes FREE haircuts, FREE flu vaccinations, and FREE school supplies! Come see student performances, watch a drone, play with a robot, explore the Dell Mobile Gaming Station, play on a bounce house, say hi to K-9 Officer Korzi, get FREE books from Buford the Book Bus, and be the first to learn about the new enrollment system for the 2024–25 school year!
TWILIGHT
Twilight began 09/12/2023, Monday through Thursday, Cafeteria, 4:45 to 6pm, snacks and transportation provided.

Eastside's Twilight program provides flexible student-centered learning opportunities that improve students' educational outcomes through credit recovery programs.
