Hello Eastside Community,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! It is truly a privilege to have the opportunity to serve the Eastside community once again. Our faculty and staff have been working hard to prepare for the school year.
With an ultimate goal of being the first choice in education for East Austin families, we have a few areas of focus this year. These goals include:

Ensuring Learning: It’s not enough to say we taught it. It is important to us to make sure our students learn it. We will plan ways for our students to demonstrate mastery and further plan for what to do if they don’t learn it the first time.

Instilling Pride: We expect our students to take pride in themselves, their campus, and their community. We will continue sponsoring student clubs and organizations that promote a sense of community belonging, and get our students plugged into school.

College and Career Readiness: We want all students to leave Eastside prepared for college and a career they can be proud of. We will plan for every student to receive the support they need to do so.
These goals are well within our reach, and I am confident we will get there. Your help will be greatly needed to fulfill these goals. I encourage you to get involved, whether through our Campus Advisory Council, being a parent volunteer, or just working with your student at home to assist them in balancing the many responsibilities they have. Together, we will make our campus a place of great pride: Eastside Pride!

Hola comunidad del Eastside,
¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2023-2024! Es verdaderamente un privilegio tener la oportunidad de servir a la comunidad de Eastside una vez más. Nuestra facultad y personal han estado trabajando arduamente para prepararse para el año escolar.
Con el objetivo final de ser la primera opción en educación para las familias del Este de Austin, tenemos algunas áreas de enfoque este año. Estos objetivos incluyen:

Preparación universitaria y profesional: Queremos que todos los estudiantes salgan de Eastside preparados para la universidad y una carrera de la que puedan estar orgullosos. Planificaremos que cada estudiante reciba el apoyo que necesita para hacerlo.
Estos objetivos están a nuestro alcance y confío en que los alcanzaremos. Su ayuda será muy necesaria para cumplir estos objetivos. Los animo a involucrarse, ya sea a través de nuestro Consejo Asesor del Campus, como padre voluntario o simplemente trabajando con su estudiante en casa para ayudarlo a equilibrar las muchas responsabilidades que tiene.
