Welcome to October! We are hoping to finally begin getting cooler weather. I hope your weekend was restful, joyous, and filled with good times!
This week is Custodian Appreciation Week. Our custodial staff works very hard to maintain the cleanliness of our building. If you think a child's bedroom is difficult to keep clean, just imagine a building of 700 teenagers! We thank them for their service.
Last Tuesday night, our Austin ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve the TEA’s final negotiated order related to Special Education. In the weeks ahead, you’ll hear more about how AISD plans to progress this work. A Special Education Update at the Thursday, October 12, Board Information Session.
Finally, our campus will be hosting the 2023 Tech4All Fest from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Vendors, music, and food will be available for all. In addition, any Eastside student who attends will receive FREE digital technology. We’d love to see you there.

¡Bienvenidos a octubre! Esperamos que finalmente comience a hacer un clima más fresco. ¡Espero que tu fin de semana haya sido tranquilo, alegre y lleno de buenos momentos!
Esta semana es la Semana de Agradecimiento al Custodio. Nuestro personal de conserjería trabaja muy duro para mantener la limpieza de nuestro edificio. Si crees que es difícil mantener limpia la habitación de un niño, ¡imagínate un edificio con 700 adolescentes! Les agradecemos su servicio.
El martes pasado por la noche, nuestra Junta Directiva de Austin ISD votó para aprobar laOrden negociada final de TEA relacionados con la Educación Especial. En las próximas semanas, escuchará más sobre cómo AISD planea avanzar en este trabajo. Una actualización de educación especial en la sesión informativa de la junta directiva del jueves 12 de octubre.
Finalmente, nuestro campus albergará el Tech4All Fest 2023 de 2:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m. Habrá vendedores, música y comida disponibles para todos. Además, cualquier estudiante de Eastside que asista recibirá tecnología digital GRATIS. Nos encantaría verte allí.
