Submitting Meal Benefits Applications

 

We are encouraging every Panther family to submit their meal benefits application. 

To expedite the approval process of a new meal application, we highly recommend that families submit a meal benefits application online by setting up an account at: www.schoolcafe.com. A new application must be submitted each school year.  If a student has not turned in a new meal benefits application, and been approved for meal benefits, their status will change to paid. 

Only one application is needed per household.  If parents have children in different schools, they still only need to fill out and return one application.  

Families who receive assistance through state-funded programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) are eligible for free school meals without submitting a meal benefits application. Families may apply for SNAP or TANF at www.yourtexasbenefits.com
